Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 24 years of experience to join our reputed clients based in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate must possess hands-on development, support, or implementation experience across the SAP ecosystem.

This role specifically requires expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming, OData service development, and prior involvement in SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) projects.

Primary Responsibility & Core Functions :

ABAP Development and Coding :

- Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality, efficient code using SAP ABAP programming language.

- Focus on advanced development techniques, utilizing ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming for complex business requirements and reusable components.

- Engage in development, support, and implementation activities across various SAP modules, ensuring system stability and performance.

Integration and Services :

- Develop and manage OData services for seamless data communication between SAP backend systems and modern front-end applications (e.g., SAP Fiori, external applications).

- Work on integration scenarios, utilizing knowledge of RFC, BAPI, and web services within the SAP landscape.

Module Expertise (HCM Focus) :

- Apply development expertise specifically within SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) projects, covering areas such as payroll, personnel administration, time management, or benefits.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within existing HCM custom developments and standard functionalities.

Support and Quality Assurance :

- Provide effective technical support for deployed solutions, including root cause analysis and timely resolution of critical issues.

- Ensure strict adherence to coding standards, performance best practices, and security guidelines in all developed solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience : 2 to 4 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, support, or implementation.

- Core ABAP : Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming.

- Advanced ABAP : Mandatory experience with ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming.

- Integration : Experience developing and managing OData services for modern applications.

- Module Experience : Direct development experience working on SAP HCM projects.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development concepts.

- Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for ABAP programs and database operations.

- Experience with ALV, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms development.
