SAP ABAP Developer - E2E Implementation

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and expose OData services for consumption in Fiori/UI5 front-end applications.

- Design and implement CDS views, behavior definitions, and projection views to model business logic.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, UX designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

- Perform end-to-end full-stack development using ABAP (backend) and SAP UI5/Fiori (frontend).

- Implement clean, modular, and reusable OOABAP code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues related to custom ABAP and RAP-based

applications.

- Work on agile projects using DevOps practices and tools like ATC, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (optional but preferred).

- Provide technical documentation and conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) : Experience in creating unmanaged and managed

scenarios.

- OOABAP (Object-Oriented ABAP) : Deep understanding and application in enterprise-grade

developments.

- OData Services : Development and consumption, especially in context of RAP.

- CDS Views analytical, transactional, and exposure views (annotations usage is key).

- SAP Fiori/UI5 : Integration with backend using OData and CDS annotations.

- SQL Scripting in HANA : Strong skills in performance-optimized data processing.

- Good understanding of BOPF (legacy systems) and transition to RAP (preferred).

- Experience in full-stack development across SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.

Additional Desirable Skills :

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in SAP.

- Understanding of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and SAP BTP services

(optional).

- Experience in working within Agile/Scrum teams.
