The organization is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience to analyze, enhance, and develop ABAP programs for implementing custom business logic, with a primary focus on SAP Data Archiving. The role requires strong technical proficiency in ABAP development, in-depth debugging skills, and the ability to reverse engineer standard SAP programs to understand underlying business processes.

Responsibilities :

- Analyze standard SAP ABAP programs and develop custom enhancements to support data archiving requirements.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs in alignment with business and technical specifications.

- Perform advanced debugging and reverse engineering of standard SAP transactions, reports, and function modules to understand and document business logic.

- Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, best practices, and performance guidelines.

- Provide technical documentation and support during implementation and post-deployment phases.

Requirements :

- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong expertise in debugging and analyzing standard SAP programs.

- Proven ability to reverse engineer standard SAP transactions and reports to derive business logic.

- Good understanding of SAP Data Archiving concepts and related technical frameworks.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage) :

- Experience with SAP BTP and ABAP Cloud development.

- Exposure to deploying applications and extensions using SAP BTP / ABAP Cloud.

- Good understanding of information security and privacy principles related to organizational and confidential data, including data classification, masking, retention, destruction, and access control.

- Awareness of relevant regulatory requirements and the ability to apply basic security controls are a plus.
