Job Description - SAP ABAP Consultant (S/4HANA)

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in S/4HANA (RISE or GROW) environments. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 end-to-end implementations and 4-5 support projects, along with strong technical leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) in SAP S/4HANA.
Lead end-to-end ABAP development efforts during implementation and support projects.
Work closely with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, PP) to convert requirements into technical specifications.
Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and mentor junior developers.
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for custom developments.
Coordinate with BASIS, Fiori/UI5, and integration teams for transport movements and deployments.
Manage task allocation, ensure delivery timelines, and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Must-Have Skills:

Core ABAP: Reports, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, ALV, RFCs, BDC.
S/4HANA ABAP: CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and modern ABAP syntax.
Implementation Experience: 2-3 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.
Support Experience: 4-5 support projects with strong debugging and issue resolution skills.
Team Leadership: Experience in task allocation, code review, and mentoring.
Cross-Module Knowledge: SD, MM, FI, PP with a strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration points.
