We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in OData, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure SAP extensions and services on SAP S/4HANA and BTP platforms. This role requires deep technical knowledge, hands-on coding expertise, and a strong understanding of modern SAP architecture and cloud integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop custom applications and services using SAP ABAP, OData, and RAP model on S/4HANA.

- Build and expose OData services for Fiori and external system integrations.

- Work extensively on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, CAP, and ABAP Environment) for building and extending cloud applications.

- Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications through custom OData/RAP services.

- Perform ABAP on HANA development, optimizing performance using CDS Views, AMDPs, and HANA SQL scripting.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Ensure adherence to SAP clean core and extensibility best practices using BTP and RAP.

- Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and code reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.

- Integrate SAP systems with third-party solutions via API management, event mesh, and cloud connectors.

- Support deployment, maintenance, and enhancement activities for BTP-based applications.

Required Skills :

- 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong experience with OData services, both creation and consumption.

- Proficiency in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and CDS views.

- Good understanding of BTP services (ABAP Environment, Cloud Foundry, Integration Suite, Destination Service, etc.).

- Experience with ABAP on HANA concepts AMDP, CDS, Core Data Services Annotations.

- Solid understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 architecture and integration with OData/RAP.

- Knowledge of modern ABAP syntax and object-oriented ABAP.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Extensibility (In-App and Side-by-Side extensions).

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
