Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Developer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience for a full-time, on-site role. The ideal candidate must be an immediate joiner with strong ABAP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.

This role involves the technical development, customization, and troubleshooting of SAP applications, with a specific focus on system integration using key interfaces like IDoc and BAPI to ensure seamless, client-specific operational requirements are met.

Job Description :

SAP ABAP Development and Programming :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality custom applications and reports within the SAP environment utilizing core ABAP programming skills and established development standards.

- Mandatorily apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies within ABAP (ABAP Objects) to build reusable, scalable, and maintainable software components.

- Perform technical customization and enhancement of standard SAP applications (e.g., enhancements, BADIs, user exits) to meet unique client business requirements and improve system functionality.

- Possess a strong understanding of SAP data dictionary, performance tuning techniques, and SQL trace analysis to ensure optimal performance of custom code.

System Integration and Interface Management :

- Develop and troubleshoot complex system integrations using key SAP interface technologies, specifically IDoc (Intermediate Document) for asynchronous communication and BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface) for synchronous interactions.

- Configure, monitor, and manage IDoc interfaces for data exchange with both internal and external legacy systems, ensuring data integrity and error handling.

- Utilize BAPIs to enable stable and standardized communication layers for external system access or internal module integration.

Technical Troubleshooting and Collaboration :

- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose, debug, and resolve critical application errors and technical issues in development, quality assurance, and production environments.

- Collaborate effectively with functional consultants to translate complex business requirements into precise, efficient technical specifications and development plans.

- Maintain clear and concise written and verbal communication throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring transparency with project managers and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Mandatory 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Technical Expertise : Expert proficiency in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and proven experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies (ABAP Objects).

- Integration : Mandatory knowledge and hands-on experience with IDoc and BAPI integration techniques.

- Core Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Availability : Must be an Immediate Joiner.

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills :

- Domain Experience : Experience in the HR domain (SAP HCM) or relevant industry experience.

- Modern ABAP : Exposure to modern ABAP development techniques, including ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.

- Web Interfaces : Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 development and OData services.

- Methodology : Experience working within an Agile or DevOps environment.
