Job Description

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Core ABAP Developer with expertise in OOABAP, OData, RAP, Fiori, and QMATES to join our development team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on coding experience and the ability to build scalable SAP applications, integrate with Fiori/UI5, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using Core ABAP and OOABAP.

- Build and expose OData services to support SAP Fiori and UI5 applications.

- Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Develop CDS views and leverage RAP framework for modern ABAP development.

- Optimize and enhance ABAP programs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Utilize QMATES or similar tools to ensure quality and development efficiency.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.

- Provide technical support for application development and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in SAP Core ABAP and OOABAP programming.

- Hands-on experience in OData services, RAP, CDS views, and Fiori/UI5 integration.

- Practical experience with SQL scripting and performance tuning.

- Knowledge of QMATES or equivalent SAP development tools (preferred).

- Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- SAP ABAP certification or equivalent credentials (preferred).
