SAP ABAP Consultant - S/4 HANA/ECC Module

Job Title : SAP ABAP Consultant.

Location : PAN INDIA.

Notice Period : Immediate Joiner (OnLY).

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong background in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SPAU/SPDD activities, custom code remediation, IDoc enhancements, and OData service development.

This role will focus on ensuring seamless technical migration and supporting new developments in the S/4HANA landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform SPAU and SPDD adjustments during system upgrade/migration from ECC to S/4HANA.

- Analyze, remediate, and adapt custom ABAP code to be compatible with S/4HANA standards.

- Enhance and troubleshoot IDocs, including custom segments, user exits, and partner profiles.

- Develop and maintain OData services using SEGW and CDS views for Fiori/UI5 applications.

- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Optimize ABAP code for performance in S/4HANA (e.g., usage of CDS, AMDP, and efficient queries).

- Conduct unit testing, documentation, and support for technical issues during and after migration.

- Support transport management, version control, and deployment coordination across systems.

Required Skills :

- Strong ABAP development experience (Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, ALV).

- Proven experience in SPAU/SPDD adjustments and handling simplification items.

- Good understanding and hands-on experience with IDocs custom and standard.

- Experience in OData service creation, consumption, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with S/4HANA tools like ATC, SCI, and simplification database.

- Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-optimized ABAP.

- Good knowledge of version control and transport management in SAP.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP S/4HANA Certification (ABAP or Technical migration) is a plus.

- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

- Understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 architecture and integration.
