SAP ABAP Consultant - MM/SD/FI Modules

Job Title : Senior SAP ABAP Lead Consultant

Experience : 8-10 Years

Location : Bangalore

Job Description :

- Develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP programs and interfaces across modules like MM, PP, PM, WM, FI, and SD.

- Work on IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Webservices to support SAP integration with external systems.

- Collaborate with functional teams and participate in client calls to understand business pain points and technical requirements.

- Provide support for incident resolution, service requests, and change requests.

- Perform debugging and performance tuning for custom developments and standard SAP issues.

- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring or complex issues and provide recommendations for long-term fixes.

- Have working knowledge of SAP CPI/PI interfaces and understand data flows between SAP and external systems.

- Follow SAP best practices and standards in development and documentation.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 8 - 10 years of strong experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Deep understanding of SAP master data and transaction data models in MM, PP, PM, WM, FI, SD.

- Proficient in handling IDOC processing, BAPI integration, RFCs, and Web Services.

- Familiar with SAP CPI/PI or similar middleware platforms and how SAP interfaces with external systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting ABAP code.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in working with GCCs, large enterprise clients, or retail/manufacturing domains.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- SAP certification (preferred, not mandatory).
