SAP ABAP Consultant - HR Payroll & Workflow

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong focus on HR Programming, particularly in the Payroll (PY) module. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ABAP development for HR functionalities, along with hands-on experience in SAP Workflows. This role is primarily focused on support activities, so prior exposure to support projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs in the HR (PY) module, including payroll schema enhancements, custom reports, interfaces, and user exits.

- Provide technical support for SAP HR and Payroll processes, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.

- Work closely with functional HR teams to understand requirements and deliver effective ABAP solutions.

- Develop and troubleshoot SAP Workflows across HR-related scenarios.

- Participate in system upgrades, patch applications, and enhancement projects related to HR and Payroll.

- Handle incident and change requests, following ITIL-based support processes.

- Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions for recurring issues.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP, with a strong emphasis on HR (PY) module.

- Hands-on experience in Payroll processing, schema modification, custom infotypes, and PA/OM modules.

- Strong understanding of SAP HR technical architecture.

- Proven experience in SAP Workflows development and support.

- Prior involvement in support and maintenance projects is a must.

- Good understanding of debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP programs.

- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
