Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience to join our dynamic technical team.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in core ABAP development and possess crucial hands-on experience in the SAP S/4HANA environment, specifically leveraging modern techniques like OData Services and adhering to best practices across the full range of WRICEF components.

This role is key to developing high-performance, integrated, and scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- ABAP Development : Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces across various SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.

- S/4HANA Development : Utilize modern ABAP syntax and principles for development within the SAP S/4HANA environment, optimizing code for the HANA database (e.g. , using CDS views and Open SQL enhancements).

- OData Services & Fiori : Develop and expose robust OData Services (using SAP Gateway) to enable seamless integration with SAP Fiori applications and other external systems.

- WRICEF Component Delivery : Execute development tasks across the full spectrum of WRICEF components :

- Workflows : Develop and customize SAP Business Workflows.

- Reports : Create complex ALV reports and interactive reporting solutions.

- Interfaces : Implement interfaces using RFCs, BAPIs, and IDOCs for inbound and outbound data exchange.

- Conversions : Develop and execute data conversion programs using tools like LSMW or LTMC/LTRO.

- Enhancements : Implement user exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Spots to customize standard SAP functionalities.

- Forms : Develop and modify forms using Smart Forms or Adobe Forms.

- Performance Tuning : Perform comprehensive code reviews and performance tuning to ensure high efficiency and adherence to coding standards for optimal execution on the HANA database.

- Technical Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical specifications, test plans, and solution documentation for all development objects.

- Collaboration : Work closely with Functional Consultants and business users to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 57 years of dedicated, hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.

- S/4HANA Proficiency : Proven experience developing and working within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.

- Modern Integration : Strong development experience with OData Services (creation, consumption, troubleshooting) for Fiori/UI5 and external system integration.

- Comprehensive WRICEF Skills : Demonstrated ability to execute development and customization tasks across all WRICEF components.

- Core ABAP : Mastery of classical and object-oriented ABAP programming.

- Database Optimization : Knowledge of ABAP performance tuning techniques specific to the HANA database.

- Availability : Must be an Immediate Joiner or have a short notice period (30 days maximum).

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (BTP) services related to integration and development.

- Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 development principles (though primarily an ABAP role).
