Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise across core ABAP areas and a solid understanding of key functional modules. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity for candidates who are looking to grow in a dynamic and collaborative SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions aligned with business requirements.

Work across core ABAP areas :

- Reports including ALV

- Interfaces File-based (Optional: IDOC, ALE)

- Enhancements User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI (Optional: BTE, Enhancement Forms)

- Forms SAP Scripts, Smart Forms (Optional: Adobe Forms)

- Conversions BDC, BAPI (Optional: LSMW)

- Participate in at least one SAP implementation project with hands-on technical contribution.

Understand and integrate functional processes related to :

- Sales & Distribution (SD)

- Materials Management (MM)

- Finance & Controlling (FICO)

- Plant Maintenance (PM)

- Production Planning (PP)

- Quality Management (QM)

- Prepare technical specifications, unit test plans, and documentation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technical delivery.

- Perform end-to-end testing of developed solutions.

- Communicate effectively with business users and functional consultants.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 to 7 years of hands-on ABAP development experience.

- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.

- Strong knowledge of core ABAP workbench areas.

- Exposure to enhancement frameworks and integration techniques.

- Good understanding of business processes across multiple functional modules.

- Strong documentation and analytical skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Nice to Have (Optional) :

- Experience with Adobe Forms, IDOC/ALE, BTE, LSMW.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- S/4HANA experience is a plus.
