SAP ABAP Consultant - E2E Implementation

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with over 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and customizing SAP applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ABAP programming, a strong understanding of SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI, or HR), and the ability to translate functional requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

This role demands strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, code, test, and implement ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, and reports based on business requirements.

- Develop custom solutions using ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.

- Design and maintain SAP Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for business document generation.

- Perform data uploads and conversions using BDC, LSMW, and BAPI.

- Work on interface development using IDoc, RFC, ALE, and Web Services.

- Troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and optimize program performance.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and user manuals.

- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand and

implement technical requirements.

- Provide post-implementation support and handle change requests, incident resolution, and

enhancements.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience in implementation, support, or upgrade projects.

- Proficiency in ABAP Programming including ABAP Objects, Reports, Module Pools, BADI/User Exits, and Enhancement Points.

- Experience in working with SAP modules like MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, or PP.

- Strong skills in Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.

- Knowledge of RFCs, IDOCs, BAPIs, ALE, and Workflow.

- Familiarity with performance tuning, debugging, and unit testing.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with S/4HANA and Eclipse-based ABAP development (ADT).

- Exposure to OData services, Fiori, and SAP UI5.

- Understanding of SAP Business Workflow and BPM.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Solution Manager, etc.

- SAP ABAP certification is a plus
