Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP BTP RAP Consultant with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP and extensive hands-on experience with the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

This role is crucial for developing and implementing cloud-native ABAP applications on the SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk). You will be instrumental in building modern, scalable solutions using the latest SAP technologies to drive digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud-Native Development : Develop and implement cloud-native ABAP applications on the SAP BTP ABAP Environment, leveraging a deep understanding of the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) to build business objects and services from scratch.

- Architecture & Integration : Utilize expertise in OData V4, CDS Views, and Fiori Elements to build robust, modern user interfaces and integrate them with backend services and business logic.

- Extensibility & Configuration : Apply a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Extensibility, including key user, developer, and side-by-side extensibility, to enhance standard SAP solutions without modifying core code.

- Development & Collaboration : Use modern development tools like Eclipse/ADT (ABAP Development Tools) and Git-based version control for efficient and collaborative code management.

- Troubleshooting : Debug and optimize custom ABAP code and services to ensure high performance and reliability of applications in the cloud environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP, with a strong focus on Object-Oriented ABAP.

- Proven, hands-on expertise with the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

- Experience in developing cloud applications on the SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk).

- Strong knowledge of OData V4, CDS Views, and Fiori Elements-based UIs.

- Familiarity with modern development tools like Eclipse/ADT and Git for version control.

- A solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Extensibility.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

- Knowledge of other SAP BTP services, such as S/4HANA Cloud SDK and Event Mesh.

- Familiarity with SAP Gateway.

- A background in specific functional modules like Finance (FI) or Materials Management (MM)
