Description :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom programs and enhancements using SAP ABAP.

- Work on various ABAP objects such as Reports (Classical & Interactive), Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.

- Develop and maintain BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Spots to meet business process requirements.

- Create and modify Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms as per client needs.

- Develop ALV Reports (List and Grid Display) for analytical and operational reporting.

- Maintain and extend Data Dictionary objects (tables, views, data elements, domains, search helps).

- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather technical requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure quality and performance standards.

- Work on performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization for efficient execution.

- Develop and expose OData services for Fiori and other integration scenarios.

- Create CDS Views for analytical reporting and leverage HANA-based development best practices.

- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and organizational coding guidelines.

- Support post-go-live activities, issue resolution, and change requests.

- Collaborate with functional and basis teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

- 4- 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across ECC or S/4HANA systems.

- Strong programming experience in :

1. Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)

2. BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements

3. Smart Forms / Adobe Forms / SAP Scripts

4. Data Dictionary (Tables, Views, Domains, Structures)

- Sound understanding of modularization techniques (Function Modules, Classes, and Methods).

- Ability to analyze functional specs and prepare corresponding technical specifications.

- Experience in data migration and interface development (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs).

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Exposure to OData services and CDS Views (preferred).

- Experience in S/4HANA development and understanding of new ABAP syntax will be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 integration via OData services.

- Familiarity with SAP Workflow and Enhancement Frameworks.

- Exposure to ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

- Understanding of SAP Transport Management and version control tools (e.g., Git-enabled CTS).

- Knowledge of Agile methodology and working with tools like JIRA / Solution Manager
