Position : SAP ABAP Consultant

Experience Required : 2 to 5 years

Location : Bangalore (On-site/Hybrid depending on project needs)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on skills in ABAP development, enhancements, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments and be capable of supporting end-to-end development tasks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, user exits, and enhancements.

- Work on RICEFW components including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

- Develop and maintain OData services, CDS views, and AMDPs for SAP S/4HANA projects.

- Build and enhance SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms as required.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.

- Support integration activities with other modules and systems (MM, SD, FI, PP, etc.

- Provide production support, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely delivery of project tasks.

Required Skills :

- 25 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong knowledge of Classical & Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, and Enhancements.

- Experience with S/4HANA ABAP features, including CDS Views, OData, AMDP, and Fiori integration.

- Good understanding of Data Dictionary, RFCs, and IDocs.

- Experience with SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.

- Ability to work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to SAP Workflow.

- Experience with ABAP on HANA performance optimization.

- Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps processes.

- Basic understanding of Fiori UI5 is a plus.

Education :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
