SAP ABAP Consultant

Description :

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core ABAP, S/4HANA implementation and migration, and hands-on experience with modern SAP development tools and frameworks. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, capable of working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality SAP ABAP solutions to support business requirements.

- Work on S/4HANA implementation and migration projects, ensuring smooth transition and optimization of custom developments.

- Develop and enhance SAP applications using Core ABAP, OOABAP, CDS Views, OData Services, AMDP, and RAP.

- Utilize the SAP Enhancement Framework, including User Exits, BADIs, BDCs, and BAPIs for custom enhancements and modifications.

- Perform development and support activities related to Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, SAP Script, ALV Reports, IDOCs, RFCs, ALE, and Data Interfaces.

- Work extensively with ABAP Dictionary objects, including tables, fields, domains, and creation of search helps.

- Conduct SQL Trace, runtime analysis, debugging, and performance tuning for custom and standard SAP programs.

- Support report development, system modifications, and technical issue resolution across SAP modules.

- Integrate SAP applications using SOAP/REST web services and HTTP POST.

- Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

- Demonstrate strong ownership, commitment, and the ability to work creatively in problem-solving environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).

- Proven expertise in S/4HANA implementation and migration projects.

- Proficiency in CDS Views, OData Services, AMDP, RAP, and other modern SAP development technologies.

- Solid understanding of the SAP Enhancement Framework including BADIs, User Exits, BAPIs, IDOCs, ALE, and BDC.

- Experience with Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, SAP Script, and other SAP UI development tools.

- Familiarity with LSMW, Web UI, and SAP table structures.

- Strong knowledge of SAP performance tuning, SQL Trace, debugging, and troubleshooting methods.

- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- High sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering quality results.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

- SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA development.

- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

- Exposure to integration with other SAP and non-SAP applications.
