SAP ABAP Consultant

Position Title : SAP ABAP Consultant

Location : HiTech City, Hyderabad

Work Mode : On-site (Work from Office)

Core Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP solutions across various SAP modules (like SD, MM, HR, FI)

- Work on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF) objects

- Perform code optimization and debugging using performance tuning techniques

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Handle support tickets, perform impact analysis, and ensure smooth functioning of SAP applications

- Ensure coding standards, documentation, and proper testing practices are followed

Key Skills Required :

- Proficiency in Classical & Interactive Reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, ALV reports

- Good understanding of Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)

- Exposure to Enhancement Frameworks, User Exits, BADIs, and BAPIs

- Ability to interpret functional specifications and deliver clean, efficient code

- SAP certification in ABAP is a plus, but not mandatory

Experience Criteria :

- Total Experience : Minimum 6 years in IT

- Relevant ABAP Experience : At least 4 years hands-on

- Experience in end-to-end implementation projects and support environments preferred

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude

- Good communication to interact with cross-functional teams

- Willingness to adapt and learn newer SAP technologies if required

Notice Period :

- Immediate joiners or candidates available within 15 days or less are preferred

Compensation :

- Package offered is based on market standards, commensurate with experience and skill level
