SAP ABAP/APO Consultant

Job Title : ABAP-APO Consultant.

Experience : 5+ years.

Location : Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai.

Mandatory Skills : APO-ABAP,S/4HANA,PP/DS,Cif.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of ABAP development experience, with at least 12 years in APO-ABAP (focused on PP/DS).

- Strong expertise in CIF enhancements, planning books, macros, and planning engine logic.

- Proven experience in S/4HANA technical upgrades or greenfield embedded PP/DS implementations.

- Ability to analyze, redesign, and refactor custom APO developments.

- Experience in remediation or decommissioning of obsolete function modules, BAPIs, and planning enhancements.

- Capable of adapting or replacing CIF-related interfaces as part of the migration to embedded PP/DS.

- Experience supporting SPDD/SPAU activities and conducting upgrade impact assessments.

- Strong collaboration skills to work with functional teams on heuristics, pegging, and optimizer logic alignment.

- Ability to validate planning results, data consistency, and performance tuning post-migration.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Hands-on experience with embedded PP/DS on S/4HANA 2020 or later.

- Familiarity with Fiori apps, CDS views, and modern planning tools.

- Exposure to ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) findings, Simplification Item lists, and Readiness Check outputs.
