Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

- Creation of functional and/or technical concepts

- Development or modification of ABAP programmes

- Modifications of job nets

- Technical testing of requirements

- Documentation of knowledge for operation

- Design, develop and maintain SAP ABAP stored procedures to meet support and/or project requirements.

- Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.

- Work with IT support teams (I&O, SAP CCoE) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented

- Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications

- Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle

- Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing

- Participate in production support/ duty rotation including weekend and off-hour support coverage

- Provide Solution Delivery Methodology (Companies Essence Model) artefacts associated with application components.

- Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development

Key Competencies & Skills required :

- SAP ABAP

- Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.

- Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency

- Perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks

- Testing experience

Nice to have :

- Knowledge of SAP FS-ICM

- Knowledge of DB2

- Exposure to collaboration tools like SharePoint, Fileshare, Agile Methodology, Confluence, KanBan Knowledge

- Insurance Know How

Education/Qualification :

A degree in Computer Science or equivalent or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Knowledge & Experience :

- 2-3 years of SAP ABAP Development background in design, analysis and coding, bug fixing

- Financial Services background appreciated

- Experience of working within multi-location teams
