Job Description :

We are seeking an accomplished Salesforce Technical Architect specializing in Communications Cloud with 15 to 17 years of experience in enterprise technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale Salesforce solutions within the telecommunications or communications sector. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving technical excellence, architectural governance, and digital transformation initiatives for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of Salesforce Communications Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

- Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and robust technical architectures.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-go-live support.

- Develop and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and documentation for Salesforce implementations, with a focus on Communications Cloud modules (e.g., CPQ, Order Management, Product Catalog).

- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments to ensure solution integrity and regulatory compliance.

- Assess and integrate third-party applications, APIs, and legacy systems with Salesforce Communications Cloud to enable seamless business processes.

- Drive innovation by staying current with Salesforce platform advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies relevant to the communications industry.

- Support sales and pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, solution design, and effort estimation for proposals and RFP responses.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 15 - 17 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 8 years dedicated to Salesforce architecture and solution delivery.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud (formerly Vlocity), including CPQ, CLM, Order Management, and Product Catalog modules.

- Strong expertise in Salesforce platform features such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Process Builder, and Flow.

- Demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools).

- Salesforce certifications : Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred; Communications Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I/II, and Application Architect certifications highly desirable.

- Deep understanding of the telecommunications/communications industry processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate large technical teams in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices in Salesforce environments.

- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

- Exposure to data migration, data modeling, and data security best practices within Salesforce.

- Experience with global delivery models and working with distributed teams.
