The Role :

JRD Systems is seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Functional Tester & Automation professional with 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, including 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional testing fundamentals with advanced test automation skills to validate Salesforce solutions, identify complex edge cases, and support reliable, high-quality releases.

Core Competencies :

- Strong understanding of business requirements, risk-based test planning, acceptance criteria, and exploratory testing.

- Able to challenge applications with complex edge cases while balancing quality, delivery timelines, and business risk.

Functional & Core Testing Responsibilities :

- Drive end-to-end functional, manual, and regression testing across Salesforce Clouds, particularly Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features, including test scheduling, execution strategy, and exit criteria.

- Validate user-story acceptance criteria and deliver quality outcomes within scheduled sprint timelines.

- Use Salesforce Data Loader for data insertion, updates, and bulk import/export across Salesforce objects.

- Execute integration, cross-browser, mobile, and localization/translation testing.

- Participate in defect triage with cross-functional development and product management teams; clearly document defects, severity, impact, and retest outcomes.

Automation Testing Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and automated regression suites.

- Use Copado Robotic Testing and Copado Automation to build, manage, and scale low-code, cloud-native test automation frameworks.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Copado CI/CD, ensuring quality gates run with deployments.

- Use programming and scripting languages to develop test utilities, data generators, and extensions for automation frameworks.

- Perform REST API testing using Postman or integrated test-script frameworks.

Agile Execution & Collaboration :

- Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum QA environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Independently drive complex quality engineering activities from test planning through execution, defect resolution, and sign-off.

- Maintain flexibility to overlap working hours with US time zones to support distributed teams.

- Communicate test results, defect trends, quality risks, and release readiness clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

Education, Knowledge & Certifications :

- Education : Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent qualification.

- Required Certification : Salesforce Administrator Certified.

- Preferred Certifications : Copado certifications (such as Copado Robotic Testing or Copado Administrator) and relevant automation testing certifications.

- Working Style : Independent contributor who can operate with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with distributed engineering teams.
