Role Overview :


We are seeking an experienced eClinicalWorks (eCW) with Salesforce Integration Specialist to lead and execute integration projects between healthcare practice management/EHR systems and Salesforce CRM platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in eCW, API-based integration strategies, and healthcare data interoperability standards.

This role will involve solution design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization of eCWSalesforce interfaces while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and security protocols.


Key Responsibilities :


Integration Design and Development :


- Architect, develop, and maintain integrations between eClinicalWorks and Salesforce platforms using APIs, middleware, or custom frameworks.

- Ensure smooth data exchange covering patient records, scheduling, billing, and CRM workflows.

Data Interoperability and Standards :


- Leverage HL7, FHIR, CCD, and other healthcare interoperability standards to ensure secure and accurate data transfer.

- Map eCW data models to Salesforce objects and ensure consistent synchronization.

Customization and Optimization :


- Customize Salesforce to support healthcare workflows, including patient engagement, lead tracking,

referral management, and clinical data visualization.
- Configure eCW interfaces to meet unique client requirements and optimize system performance.

Security and Compliance :


- Ensure HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards are strictly adhered to in all integrations.

- Implement role-based access, encryption, and secure data handling practices.

Collaboration and Support :


- Work closely with technical architects, business analysts, Salesforce administrators, and healthcare stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.

- Provide technical support, documentation, and training for end-users and internal teams.


Required Skills and Qualifications :


Technical Expertise :


- Strong hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (EHR and PM modules) including APIs, interfaces, and data extraction.

- Proven experience with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud preferred).

- Solid understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Bulk), APEX, Lightning Components, and custom integrations.

- Middleware experience (Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or custom API gateways) is a plus.

Healthcare IT Knowledge :


- Proficiency with HL7, FHIR, CCD, CDA standards.

- Understanding of healthcare workflows, patient data structures, and clinical documentation.

Programming and Scripting :


- Expertise in Java, .NET, or Python for integration components.

- Familiarity with SQL, JSON, XML, and scripting tools.

Soft Skills :


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills to interface with clinical and technical teams.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and deliver on time.


Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and patient engagement features.

- Prior experience integrating eCW with third-party systems or CRM solutions.

- Certifications in Salesforce or healthcare IT (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Integration Architect, or eCW certifications)
