Salesforce DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Role Overview :

You will play a key role in defining and executing Salesforce DevOps strategies, enabling reliable, scalable, and high-quality releases across multiple Salesforce environments. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise and cross-team coordination.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Copado

- Implement source-driven development, branching strategies, and release governance

- Create, validate, and deploy Salesforce packages (including cherry-picking changes)

- Perform pre- and post-deployment activities across Dev, QA, UAT, and Prod

- Coordinate release planning, CAB approvals, and cutover activities with multiple teams

- Manage Salesforce environment refreshes and sandbox creation

- Support Salesforce Product releases and assess deployment impact

- Migrate Salesforce and OmniStudio components using Copado

- Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure compliance with security and audit standards

- Mentor team members and collaborate with Developers, Architects, QA, and Business stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

- Solid experience with Copado for Salesforce CI/CD

- Strong understanding of Salesforce Metadata API, SFDX, and CLI-based deployments

- Experience with GitHub, branching strategies (GitFlow / trunk-based)

- Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, or custom Salesforce apps

- Hands-on Salesforce deployment coordination and release management

- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have :

- OmniStudio experience (mandatory for some roles)

- Other Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado,Flosum,Gearset, AutoRABIT, etc.)

- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer / DevOps)

- Experience in large enterprise or multi-vendor environments

- Exposure to security compliance and audit readiness
