Salesforce DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

- Roles and Responsibilities

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools like Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Automate deployment processes for Salesforce metadata, Apex code, Lightning components, and configuration changes.

- Manage Salesforce environments including sandbox creation, refresh, version control, and release scheduling.

- Monitor deployment performance, troubleshoot failures, and ensure smooth release cycles.

- Integrate DevOps processes with version control systems such as Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.

- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline development and release workflows.

- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, deployment guidelines, and security policies.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and admin teams to align DevOps strategies with business needs.

- Manage data migration activities, including data loading, backup, and recovery operations.

- Maintain documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and environment changes.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AutoRABIT, etc.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata types, release management, and environment strategy.

- Hands-on expertise with version control systems (Git-based workflows).

- Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation.

- Knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or Salesforce configuration is a plus.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governance, and deployment constraints.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
