Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer (Vlocity) to join our team and contribute to the implementation, enhancement, and support of Salesforce Communications Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Vlocity CPQ/Order Management, Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Triggers), and integrations, along with a sound understanding of the communications domain.

This role requires a proactive, technically strong professional who can work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality Salesforce/Vlocity solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Salesforce & Vlocity Development :

- Design, develop, and configure solutions on Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity).

- Work extensively on Vlocity CPQ, Order Management, Data Raptors, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, and related components.

- Build and customize Vlocity applications to meet business and operational requirements.

- Perform development using Apex classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Flows.

Integration & Data Management :

- Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, including integration with external systems.

- Execute and document custom development, data migration activities, and integration workflows.

- Ensure smooth interaction of Salesforce with surrounding applications using best integration practices.

Development Tools & Technologies :

- Work with Salesforce development tools such as VS Code, Git, and other DevOps processes.

- Utilize expertise in Java, Microservices, Unix, ELK, and PL/SQL to support integration, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Testing, Documentation & Deployment :

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot defects to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Prepare clear and comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, code, and integrations.

- Support deployment processes and release cycles within Salesforce environments.

Collaboration & Soft Skills :

- Work closely with business analysts, architects, and other functional teams to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.

- Provide analytical insights, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure adherence to best practices in development and design.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 - 6 years of overall experience, with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity).

- Expertise in Vlocity CPQ and Order Management modules.

- Strong Salesforce development skills : Apex, Triggers, LWC, Flows, SOQL.

- Hands-on experience in building custom development, integrations, and data migrations within Salesforce.

- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and building integrations with Salesforce.

- Experience with Java, Microservices, Unix, ELK, and PL/SQL (mandatory).

- Working knowledge of Salesforce VS Code and CI/CD workflows.

- Strong problem-solving abilities with a quick learning mindset and positive attitude.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Certifications :

- Vlocity Developer Essentials (Highly preferred)

- Salesforce Platform Developer I

- Salesforce App Builder

- Vlocity Order Management/CPQ Certifications (Nice to have)
