About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE).

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and platform security, with a focus on data protection, user access controls, API governance, and deployment automation.

You will work closely with architects, administrators, and DevOps teams to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant Salesforce implementations.

The role requires a balance of deep technical knowledge, security awareness, and hands-on development expertise across Salesforce Clouds.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.).

- Lead efforts on Salesforce data security, including role hierarchies, permission sets, FLS (Field Level Security), and CRUD operations.

- Configure and manage Connected Apps, OAuth policies, and API access controls to ensure compliance with best practices.

- Implement and enforce Security_enforced and StripInaccessible methods to safeguard sensitive data during query and DML operations.

- Manage API integrations and ensure that external applications and integration users have appropriate and limited access to Salesforce data.

- Perform static code analysis and adhere to code quality standards using tools like PMD, SonarQube, and Copados static analysis features.

- Define, manage, and customize PMD rulesets for automated code reviews during deployments in Copado.

- Handle package installations, permission set assignments, and deployments for non-admin users while maintaining system security and compliance.

- Participate in Copado DevOps pipelines, CI/CD configurations, and version control (Git) management.

- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable Salesforce solutions.

- Conduct peer reviews, ensure code reusability, and follow Salesforce coding best practices (Governor Limits, Bulkification, Apex Design Patterns, etc.).

- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and configuration management artifacts.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong expertise in Salesforce Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.

- Deep understanding of Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, FLS).

- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, and Composite APIs).

- Hands-on experience with Copado, Gearset, or similar CI/CD and deployment tools.

- Proficiency with Static Code Analysis tools (PMD, CodeScan, SonarQube).

- Knowledge of Connected Apps, API user governance, and OAuth 2.0 configurations.

- Experience with Salesforce packaging and deployment, including Unlocked / Managed Packages.

- Familiarity with Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, and Data Encryption is a plus.

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
