What we are looking for :
Role : Salesforce CRM Analytics Specialist
We are looking for a hands-on expert in Salesforce CRM Analytics who knows the platform end-to-end from data ingestion and modeling to advanced SAQL, dashboard JSON, Einstein Discovery, and embedding within Salesforce. You will own the full analytics lifecycle : designing the data model, building scalable datasets and recipes, creating interactive dashboards and apps, enabling AI-powered insights, and operationalizing analytics so business users can act on insights directly in their CRM.
Location : Bangalore
Experience Required : 2-3 years overall CRM analytics experience
What youll do
Analytics Strategy & Solution Design
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate questions and use cases into CRM Analytics solutions.
- Design end-to-end analytics architectures on Salesforce : from data sources and pipelines to visualization and embedded actions.
- Define standards for naming, folder structures, apps, and lifecycle management of analytics assets.
Data Integration, Prep & Modeling :
Own the full data pipeline into CRM Analytics :
- Configure and manage CRM Analytics datasets, including incremental loads, joins, and aggregations.
- Use Dataflows & Data Prep / Recipes to clean, transform, blend, and enrich Salesforce and external data.
- Implement complex transformations : derived measures, bucketing, windowing, date operations, multi-step joins, and row-level calculations.
- Optimize for performance and scalability, respecting row limits and optimizing dataset design given CRM Analytics Growth/Plus license constraints.
- Design robust row-level security (RLS) and sharing inheritance strategies for datasets.
Advanced Querying (SAQL) & Dashboard JSON :
- Write and optimize SAQL (Salesforce Analytics Query Language) for advanced aggregations, custom calculations, window functions, and non-standard visual requirements.
- Customize Dashboard JSON for advanced interactivity :
1. Bindings & selection-based filters
2. Dynamic queries and conditional formatting
3. Custom layouts, widgets, and interactions beyond the UI builder
- Implement global filters, faceting, and interactions between charts, tables, and KPIs to support guided exploration.
Dashboards, Lenses, Apps & Storytelling :
- Build lenses for exploratory analysis and use them as building blocks for dashboards.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards with rich visualizations and KPIs.
- Package analytics into Apps and manage app-level access.
- Implement dashboard actions : updates to Salesforce records, navigation, opening records or list views, and invoking flows directly from dashboard insights.
- Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance and mobile usability.
Governance, Security & Administration :
- Work with Salesforce admins to enable and configure CRM Analytics licenses, permission set licenses, and permission sets, including custom permission sets for granular access.
- Define and enforce best practices for security and sharing at app, dataset, lens, and dashboard levels.
- Monitor and manage data storage limits, performance, and usage metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations around data privacy and access control.

Must-have skills & experience :
CRM Analytics Platform Expertise :
1. Candidates must have deep, hands-on experience with the following core CRM Analytics features :
- Analytics Studio / Analytics Tab and navigation in Salesforce.
- Assets : Datasets, Lenses, Dashboards, Apps, Collections.
- Data Prep & Pipelines : Dataflows, Recipes (Data Prep), transformation nodes, joins, aggregations, filters, and calculated fields.
- Query & Logic : SAQL, compare tables, bindings, dashboard JSON customization.
- Security & Governance : Permission sets & PSLs for CRM Analytics, app-level permissions (Viewer, Editor, Manager), row-level security, security predicates, and sharing inheritance.
General Technical & Salesforce Skills :
- Minimum 2-3 years overall CRM analytics experience.
- Strong Salesforce data model understanding (Sales/Service Cloud core objects; Education cloud is a plus).
- Strong SQL/relational concepts; ability to translate them to SAQL & Data Prep.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to translate complex data stories into simple, actionable insights.
- Comfortable owning problems end-to-end, from requirements to production and support.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred :
1. Salesforce certifications such as :
- Salesforce Certified CRM Analytics & Discovery Consultant (or legacy Einstein/Tableau CRM certs)
- Salesforce Administrator / Platform App Builder
2. Experience integrating CRM Analytics with Tableau / other BI tools.
3. Experience in the EdTech domain where analytics plays a big role.
4. Experience with DevOps for Salesforce (change sets, unlocked packages, Git-based deployment) for analytics assets.
