Job Summary :
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and working knowledge of Salesforce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, writing and maintaining end-to-end test scripts, and ensuring the overall quality of the application with a focus on Salesforce-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand business requirements and create comprehensive automation test plans.
- Write reusable, scalable, and maintainable test scripts for web applications.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Perform manual and automated testing for Salesforce-based applications.
- Identify, record, and track bugs, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
- Generate detailed test reports and provide metrics on test coverage and quality.
- Continuously evaluate test tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 6- 9 years of total experience in QA with a strong focus on automation.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
- Strong experience in test scripting using TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Working knowledge or experience in Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom apps).
- Experience with REST/SOAP API testing.
- Familiarity with Salesforce tools like Workbench, Data Loader, or SOQL.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to Have :
- Salesforce Admin or QA certification.
- Knowledge of other test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, etc.
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Performance testing or mobile testing experience.
Education :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
