Job Summary :

Ekloud Inc. is seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade CPQ solutions for global clients.

This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ architecture, advanced customization, complex pricing and product configuration models, and system integrations.

The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership, ensure delivery excellence, and guide best practices across the CPQ implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Salesforce CPQ Architecture & Implementation :

- Lead end-to-end Salesforce CPQ implementations including discovery, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Design scalable CPQ architectures supporting complex product catalogs, bundles, pricing rules, discounting, approvals, and multi-currency/multi-region pricing models.

- Configure and optimize CPQ objects such as Products, Price Books, Product Options, Features, Configuration Attributes, Price Rules, Discount Schedules, Quote Templates, and Advanced Approvals.

Customization & Development :

- Develop and customize Salesforce CPQ solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce (where required), Flows, and Process Automation.

- Implement advanced CPQ logic including dynamic configuration rules, pricing engines, custom calculators, and contract-based pricing.

- Extend CPQ functionality using custom Apex plugins, Quote Calculators, and integrations with external pricing or ERP systems.

Integrations & Data Management

- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce CPQ and upstream/downstream systems such as ERP, billing, order management, and third-party pricing platforms.

- Utilize REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools for reliable, secure, and scalable integrations.

- Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and governance across CPQ and integrated systems.

Technical Leadership & Governance

- Act as the technical lead for CPQ workstreams, providing architectural guidance, code reviews, and best-practice recommendations.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and functional consultants to translate complex business requirements into technical designs.

- Define CPQ technical standards, deployment strategies, and performance optimization approaches.

Quality, Performance & Security

- Ensure CPQ solutions meet enterprise-level performance, scalability, and security requirements.

- Lead testing strategies including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing for CPQ solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex CPQ-related issues across configuration, pricing, automation, and integrations.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

- Create detailed technical design documents, configuration guides, and deployment runbooks.

- Support knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure long-term solution sustainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of overall Salesforce experience with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce CPQ.

- Proven experience leading Salesforce CPQ implementations in complex, enterprise environments.

- Deep understanding of CPQ data models, pricing engines, configuration rules, and approval workflows.

- Strong development skills in Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flows, and CPQ-specific customizations.

- Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce platform limits, performance optimization, and security best practices.

- Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and work independently in a remote delivery model.

Preferred Qualifications

- Salesforce CPQ Specialist and/or Salesforce Platform Developer certifications.

- Experience with Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud integrations.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models and CI/CD pipelines in Salesforce projects.

- Prior experience in short-term, high-impact contract engagements
