Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce CPQ Support Specialist to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize our Salesforce CPQ environment. The role involves ensuring the quoting process is accurate, efficient, and aligned with business requirements. You will provide day-to-day operational support, handle configurations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues quickly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L1/L2 support for Salesforce CPQ users, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Configure and maintain CPQ components, including:
- Bundle Configuration set up product bundles and related product options.
- Product Rules validation, selection, and filter rules to ensure accurate quoting.
- Option Constraints manage inclusion, exclusion, dependency, and quantity constraints.
- Price Rules implement pricing logic for dynamic and conditional pricing scenarios.
- Discount Schedules configure and manage volume-based and tiered discount structures.
- Quote Templates & Quote Management customize templates, layouts, and approval workflows.
- Work with Sales, Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver CPQ enhancements.
- Manage and optimize workflows, validation rules, approval processes, and custom objects on the Salesforce platform.
- Ensure CPQ system configurations align with business processes and compliance requirements.
- Conduct user training and create documentation for CPQ processes and best practices.
- Partner with Salesforce administrators and developers for complex enhancements and integrations.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 25 years of experience in Salesforce administration with 3+ years hands-on expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration and support.
- Deep knowledge of CPQ functionalities:
- Bundle configuration & product rules
- Option constraints & dependency management
- Price rules & advanced pricing logic
- Discount schedules & approval workflows
- Quote templates & document generation
- Strong understanding of Salesforce core platform features, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, and process builder.
- Ability to troubleshoot CPQ-related issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments for requirement gathering and iterative delivery.
- Excellent communication skills for working with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have :
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist and/or Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Experience with Apex triggers, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs for custom CPQ integrations.
- Familiarity with DocuSign CLM or other contract lifecycle management tools.
