The Salesforce CPQ Data Migration Specialist is a critical, high-impact technical role requiring 510 years of experience focused on a high-priority migration project from a legacy application (Siebel) to Salesforce CPQ.

This is a 6-8 months+ Contract-to-Hire position, open to fully remote for a perfect fit, or a hybrid model (2 days onsite) in Bangalore, Chennai, or Gurgaon.

The role demands strong expertise in SQL/PL/SQL for data manipulation and deep practical knowledge of core Salesforce CPQ data entities to ensure accurate and successful transfer of critical business data.

Job Summary :

We are urgently seeking a Salesforce CPQ Data Migration Specialist with robust SQL and CPQ expertise to rapidly onboard and take ownership of the data migration workstream. This role is crucial for migrating complex legacy application data (including codes, contracts, and product lines) into the Salesforce CPQ architecture, requiring precise design, development, and execution of ETL processes using PL/SQL to ensure data integrity and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Migration Execution : Execute complex data migration and ETL activities (extraction, transformation, and loading) using PL/SQL and SQL for CPQ-related datasets as part of the Siebel to Salesforce migration project.

- SQL/PL/SQL Development : Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and packages to efficiently extract and transform complex legacy data, ensuring it is accurately formulated for ingestion into the Salesforce CPQ data model.

- CPQ Data Modeling : Work extensively with core Salesforce CPQ entities such as Products, Price Books, Price Rules, Quote Templates, and Subscription Billing, including transferring historical data like codes, code lines, and contracts.

- Integration and Synchronization : Maintain data integrity and synchronization between Salesforce CPQ and external systems, ensuring the seamless flow of critical pricing and quoting information.

- Solution Collaboration : Collaborate closely with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to ensure migration scripts and data processes are aligned with the new CPQ solution's implementation and functional requirements.

- Troubleshooting and Validation : Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to CPQ pricing logic, quoting engine functionality, and data accuracy arising from the migration process.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed data flow diagrams, business rules, source-to-target mapping, and process specifications for CPQ and PL/SQL components.

- Testing and Deployment : Participate rigorously in the testing, validation, and deployment phases for CPQ enhancements, migration scripts, and integrations.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 5- 10 years of technical experience in IT roles, with significant time spent on data migration, ETL, and complex SQL development.

- CPQ Expertise : Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ data model and core entities (Products, Price Rules, Price Books, Subscriptions).

- Database Proficiency : Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for formulating, manipulating, and optimizing large data volumes. Experience with MySQL is a plus.

- Migration Experience : Proven experience in migrating legacy applications or large datasets, preferably into a Salesforce or CPQ environment.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills related to data accuracy, pricing logic, and integration issues.

- Agility : Must be able to quickly ramp up and take ownership of the work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills :

- Direct experience migrating data from Siebel or similar legacy CRM/CPQ systems.

- Familiarity with Salesforce data loading tools (Data Loader, Import Wizard) and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).

- Understanding of Apex Triggers, Classes, and Visualforce/Lightning components related to CPQ customization.
