About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ/Billing Contractor to provide crucial support for project delivery and client engagements. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Salesforce Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) and extensive hands-on experience with both Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Salesforce Billing modules. This role is highly client-facing and will include active participation in client pitch calls, making strong communication and consulting skills absolutely essential. As a contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring successful implementations and providing expert guidance.

Key Responsibilities :


- Deliver Salesforce CPQ/Billing Implementations and Support : Lead or significantly contribute to the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions. This includes requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Participate in Technical Discussions and Pitch Calls with Clients : Engage directly with prospective and existing clients during technical discussions, discovery sessions, and sales pitch calls. Articulate technical solutions clearly, address client concerns, and demonstrate the value of Salesforce CPQ/Billing.

- Translate Business Requirements into Technical Solutions : Analyze complex business processes and requirements related to quoting, pricing, contracting, order management, and billing. Translate these into robust, scalable, and efficient technical designs and configurations within Salesforce CPQ and Billing.

- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with project managers, other Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, timely project delivery, and alignment with overall business objectives.

- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality and adherence to requirements.

- Provide expertise and best practices for Salesforce CPQ and Billing functionalities.

Required Qualifications :


- Salesforce Project Experience : 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce implementation projects, with a strong focus on cloud-based business applications.

- End-to-End CPQ/Billing Implementations : Demonstrated experience with at least 2 successful end-to-end implementations specifically involving Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing modules. This includes experience from discovery through go-live.

- Salesforce Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) Familiarity : Solid understanding of the Salesforce Revenue Lifecycle Management ecosystem, encompassing lead-to-cash processes, subscription management, and related Salesforce clouds.

- Strong Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of identifying complex issues and devising effective, scalable solutions.

- Exceptional Communication Skills : Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to effectively engage in client-facing discussions and presentations.

- Ability to Work Independently in a Remote Setting : Proven capability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results autonomously in a remote work environment.

- Relevant Salesforce Certifications Preferred : Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist, or other relevant Salesforce certifications are highly desirable
