Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Developer

About the Role :

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver high-impact solutions using the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce CGC, a strong understanding of consumer goods workflows, and hands-on experience across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Customize and extend Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Process Builder to meet specific business needs.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with consumer goods use cases.

- Implement route and visit planning features, field rep productivity tools, and merchandising tracking using CGC standard objects and customizations.

- Support Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and optionally Field Service Lightning (FSL) integrations with CGC.

- Design and support integration solutions with external systems via Mulesoft, REST/SOAP APIs, or ETL tools.

- Optimize solutions for Salesforce Mobile App, focusing on offline capabilities for field representatives.

- Provide technical documentation, user training, and post-deployment support for Salesforce releases.

- Stay updated with Salesforce release cycles, new CGC features, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.

- Strong domain understanding of the Consumer Goods industry, including :

1. Retail Execution

2. Field Visit Management

3. Route Optimization

4. Order Capture & Inventory Checks

5. Merchandising & Store Audits

- Proficient in :

1. Apex, SOQL/SOSL

2. Lightning Web Components (LWC)

3. Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules

- Integration experience with tools such as Mulesoft, REST/SOAP APIs, Informatica, or ETL platforms

- Familiarity with Salesforce Mobile App features, including offline execution, image capture, and barcode scanning.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce data models, security, sharing rules, and role hierarchies.

- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
