About the job
We are seeking an experienced technology professional who will be a hands-on Salesforce configuration and declarative development specialist to work specifically on projects for our Non-profit or Higher Education clients.
This person should be an expert with Salesforce configurations and/or declarative development and have some experience in consulting or with working directly with Non-profit or Higher Education organizations. They should have a demonstrated ability to configure Salesforce according to best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate knowledge of Non-profit & Education Clouds
- Build, test, and deploy declarative and/or technical solutions to meet client requirements
- Provide informal mentorship, and facilitate knowledge-sharing and growth opportunities to less experienced consultants.
- Implement solutions in multiple Clouds and conduct proactive QA on teams solutions
- Serve as an expert in CFG methodology and business process
- Provide feedback to CFG leadership on how the company can improve
- Show a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Deliver on project assignments on time and within budget
- Perpetually contribute to the betterment of Cloud for Good
- Be prepared to work in shifts to accommodate our global customer base across different time zones, including the AMER, APAC, and EMEA.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 (Three) Salesforce certifications including the Salesforce.com administrator certification and at least one consulting certification (certifications in multiple Clouds preferred)
- Experience consulting on Salesforce implementations (3+ years of experience preferred; agile methodology experience preferred)
- Understanding of common business processes for non-profits (major gift processing, moves management, grant-making) or higher education institutions (executive education program management, student retention, recruitment and admissions, and advancement)
- Demonstrated success in designing and configuring complex solutions
- Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge. Mastery of Declarative tools (Omni Studio (FlexCards & OmniScripts) , Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Custom Objects/Fields, Security Model)
- DevOps / Release Management
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Jenkins)
- Overseeing the health and configuration of Salesforce environments (sandboxes, staging, production) to ensure they are properly configured for releases.
- Demonstrable experience in leading the release management process for Salesforce implementations, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments of new features, updates, and bug fixes.
- Strong consulting skills, including project and time management, communication, and teamwork/collaboration
- Proven track record of continuously improving organizations
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required
Preferred Skills :
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate release information to stakeholders, facilitating collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams.
- Experience in managing releases for large and complex Salesforce implementations.
- Knowledge of data migration and management within Salesforce.
