We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SFCC/B2C Commerce (Demandware) to design, develop, customize, and optimize scalable eCommerce solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SFCC architecture, SFRA development, integrations, troubleshooting, code reviews, and technical solution design, along with the ability to lead and mentor a small development team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem.

- Design and develop robust eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud / B2C Commerce.

- Create and contribute to Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and review technical designs for implementation.

- Lead end-to-end development activities while ensuring adherence to coding standards and development best practices.

- Develop and customize storefronts using SFRA, ISML, Controllers, and JavaScript.

- Work with OCAPI/SCAPI and develop integrations with external systems and third-party applications.

- Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 developers, ensuring quality delivery and continuous improvement.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to technical and architectural standards.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective debugging and resolution strategies.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Work on integrations with payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CMS, middleware, and other third-party systems.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, product, QA, architecture, and project management teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

- Strong experience in B2C Commerce / Demandware.

- Strong understanding of eCommerce implementations, including storefront development and backend logic.

- Hands-on experience with SFRA customization and development.

- Strong knowledge of ISML, Controllers, and SFCC architecture.

- Experience with OCAPI/SCAPI.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/ES6).

- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.

- Understanding of Node.js concepts.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

- Strong experience in code reviews, performance tuning, and code optimization.

- Experience mentoring or leading a small development team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with legacy SFCC Pipelines.

- Experience integrating payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CMS, and middleware systems.

- Strong understanding of eCommerce business processes.

- Knowledge of application customization, configuration, and integration within SFCC.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Candidate Profile :

We are looking for candidates who combine strong hands-on SFCC development expertise with technical design, integration, troubleshooting, and team-leadership capabilities. Candidates who have worked on complex or large-scale B2C eCommerce implementations will be preferred.
