About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce Billing Specialist / Lead who possesses deep technical and functional expertise in Salesforce Billing and related SaaS-based financial operations. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end Salesforce Billing implementations, ensuring accurate integration with financial systems and seamless delivery of business-critical billing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce Billing projects from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-production support.

- Configure and customize Salesforce Billing functionality including pricing models, product catalog setup, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance, and engineering teams to define and streamline billing and revenue workflows.

- Integrate Salesforce Billing with external systems such as Contracts, Payments, Tax, Financials, and Product Usage.

- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.

- Work in an agile environment, managing deliverables using tools such as Jira.

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices to the development team.

- Partner with finance and operations teams to enhance automation, reporting, and analytics related to billing.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform, with deep expertise in Salesforce Billing.

- Proven knowledge of SaaS usage-based billing concepts pricing, product catalogs, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce customization (objects, workflows, triggers, integrations).

- Experience in integration architecture across Contracts, Billing, Financials, and Payments.

- Proficiency in Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.

- Experience using Business Process Management tools such as Jira.

- Exposure to Workday ERP or other financial systems is an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications :

- Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project delivery.
