Salesforce Automation Tester - Java/Selenium

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Automation Tester to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. This role is critical in ensuring the robust quality and performance of our Salesforce platform implementations across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in both manual and automation testing within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Automation Framework Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

- Salesforce Domain Expertise : Execute comprehensive testing (both manual and automated) specifically within the Salesforce CRM application, spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

- Test Planning & Execution : Create detailed, structured test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Tool Utilization : Implement and utilize TestNG for test execution and reporting, and Maven for build management within the automation framework.

- BDD Implementation : Apply Cucumber framework for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to ensure collaboration and clear test case definition.

- Manual Testing : Conduct thorough Manual testing when necessary, including exploratory testing and UAT support, ensuring high quality before production deployment.

- Source Control & Collaboration : Manage automation scripts and test assets using a version control system (GIT preferable).

- Defect Management : Log, track, and manage defects using project management tools, primarily JIRA.

- Process Adherence : Actively participate in an Agile development environment, attending sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Must-Have Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dedicated automation testing.

- Salesforce Platform : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience testing core Salesforce Clouds : Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, & Marketing Cloud.

- Programming & Automation : Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium.

- Web Technologies : Familiarity with Javascript for front-end validation and integration testing.

- Testing Tools : Experience with TestNG and Maven.

- BDD : Hands-on experience with the Cucumber framework.

Additional Required Experience :

- Must have strong foundational knowledge of Manual testing principles and methodologies.

- Experience in leveraging any industry-standard test management tool (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) for organizing test artifacts.

- Practical experience working within an Agile development environment.

- Proficiency in using the JIRA tool for defect tracking and task management.

- Working knowledge of source code control systems (GIT preferable).
