Salesforce Automation Test Engineer

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce workflows, customizations, and integrations.

- Work with Salesforce Sandboxes to create, manage, and maintain robust test environments.

- Perform functional and regression testing across Sales Cloud, including standard and custom objects.

- Validate configurations related to Profiles, Permission Sets, and Page Layouts to ensure correct access controls and visibility.

- Test and validate Salesforce Flows and Approval Processes for accuracy and reliability.

- Debug and test API integrations with upstream and downstream systems.

- Collaborate with developers, admins, and business analysts to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.

- Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test data, and execution reports.

- Implement best practices for Salesforce testing, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and support continuous improvement of the testing process.

Core Requirements :

1. Salesforce Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sandboxes, their types, and usage in test environments.

- In-depth knowledge of Sales Cloud, standard and custom objects, and their relationships (lookup, master-detail).

- Hands-on experience with Profiles, Permission Sets, Page Layouts, Flows, and Approval Processes.

2. Automation Testing Skills :

- Proven experience in Salesforce automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, TestNG, or similar tools).

- Ability to develop and maintain reusable test automation scripts.

3. Integration Testing :

- Exposure to API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Excellent teamwork, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA Automation certifications.
