Salesforce Architect - Apex/Visual Force

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end architecture for Salesforce-based solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, governance models, and performance thresholds.

- Actively write Apex classes, LWC components, triggers, batch jobs, and schedulers when needed to support project delivery.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Lead architecture and technical design sessions, prepare solution architecture documents, and explain complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

- Guide and mentor developers and configuration specialists on Salesforce development best practices.

- Define integration patterns and data flows between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other tools.

- Oversee code quality, governance, and technical documentation throughout the SDLC.

- Perform code reviews and enforce Salesforce platform limits, security best practices, and compliance standards.

- Stay current on Salesforce releases, platform capabilities, and AppExchange products.

- Maintain an active Salesforce certification path and help mentor internal teams toward Salesforce Architect-level credentials.

- Support live orgs with incident triaging, O&M planning, and rollout of post-deployment enhancements.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in a Salesforce Architect or Lead Developer role.

- Proven experience with Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience), Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Hands-on experience with integrations (e.g., Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, REST/SOAP APIs).

- Deep understanding of Salesforce data modelling, sharing and visibility rules, governor limits, and performance optimization.

- Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and DevOps for Salesforce.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable :

- Salesforce Certified Application/System Architect required.

- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II.

- Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator.

- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus.
