Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and scale core backend systems and services from scratch.

- Build and maintain robust APIs, integrations, and distributed backend services.

- Collaborate with frontend teams to support seamless integration and improve product performance.

- Integrate AI-powered capabilities, LLM APIs, and intelligent automation into backend workflows.

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure.

- Drive technical decisions around scalability, system design, security, and performance optimization.

- Implement engineering best practices for testing, logging, observability, and CI/CD deployments.

- Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

- Explore and adopt modern AI tools, frameworks, and backend engineering practices.

- Help build the engineering team and mentor junior developers.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or Software Engineer.

- Strong expertise in Python and backend frameworks such as Django/FastAPI.

- Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and REST API integrations.

- Strong experience with databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.

- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and services on AWS.

- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps fundamentals.

- Familiarity with AI/ML integrations, OpenAI APIs, LLM-based workflows, or AI-assisted development tools.

- Experience architecting and scaling backend systems in production environments.

- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive projects.

- Hands-on attitude with focus on execution and product impact.

Good to Have :

- Experience building AI-enabled products or automation platforms.

- Exposure to vector databases, LangChain, RAG pipelines, or AI agent frameworks.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, or microservices architecture.

- Previous startup experience in fast-paced environments.
