Job Description : SailPoint Tester

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SailPoint Tester with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our SailPoint Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from our offices in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy :

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.

- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand project scope and functional specifications.

- Identify and define test data requirements and test environments.

Test Execution :


- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, system integration, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and performance testing for SailPoint products (e.g., IdentityIQ, IdentityNow).

- Execute test cases and document test results accurately.

- Validate identity governance features such as access certifications, provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and policy enforcement.

Defect Management :


- Report, track, and manage defects using a defect management tool (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).

- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.

- Perform re-testing and regression testing after bug fixes.

Automation (Added Advantage) :


- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.

- Integrate automation scripts into a CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing.

- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks is a plus.

Collaboration & Communication :


- Effectively communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.

- Participate in scrum meetings, stand-ups, and other project-related discussions.

- Provide clear and concise feedback to improve product quality and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SailPoint testing.

Technical Skills :


- In-depth knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow functionalities and modules.

- Proven experience in test planning, test case creation, and test execution.

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) methodologies.

- Experience with defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.

- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access

certifications, and role management.

Automation :


- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

- Experience using Selenium is highly desirable.

Soft Skills :


- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Location :

This is a hybrid role based out of our offices in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Hyderabad. Candidates should be willing to come to the office as required by project needs.
