SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Security Consulting Practitioner with strong expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ and solid understanding of identity governance and administration. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead client engagements focused on shaping cybersecurity strategies, designing security solutions, and strengthening overall cyber resilience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assess risks, manage compliance, and develop innovative and effective security practices.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic security decisions, lead high-performing teams, and contribute significantly to the advancement of identity and access management programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Security Strategy & Advisory :

- Advise clients on their end-to-end business protection journey, including cybersecurity strategy, governance, and resilience planning.

- Participate in strategic discussions to strengthen client security posture and recommend industry-aligned improvements.

- Assist in defining and shaping identity governance solutions aligned with business needs.

Solution Design & Delivery :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative security and identity management solutions.

- Provide expert guidance for SailPoint IdentityIQ-based solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration.

- Support solution evaluation and selection for identity lifecycle management and access governance processes.

Team Leadership & Collaboration :

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for security and identity governance.

- Collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs.

- Make informed decisions for immediate project teams and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing, conduct training sessions, and mentor team members to enhance their capabilities.

Security Operations & Compliance :

- Work with stakeholders to assess security risks, analyze gaps, and develop remediation strategies.

- Oversee compliance processes to ensure alignment with security frameworks and organizational standards.

- Monitor industry trends, emerging threats, and technological developments to proactively adjust strategies.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SailPoint IdentityIQ.

- Deep understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).

- Hands-on experience with identity lifecycle management, access certification, and role-based access models.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with SailPoint IdentityNow.

- Familiarity with security standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust).
