Role Summary:

As a Power Platform Developer, you will design, build, and maintain business applications, automated workflows, external-facing portals, and analytics solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse. You'll work closely with project managers and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, well-governed Power Platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop canvas and model-driven Power Apps to solve client business problems.

- Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, approvals).

- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.

- Design and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules.

- Build and configure external-facing web portals using Power Pages, including page design, forms, lists, and table permissions.

- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure services, and third-party APIs/connectors.

- Implement application lifecycle management (ALM) using solutions, environments, and source control best practices.

- Gather and document requirements from client stakeholders; translate them into functional and technical specifications.

- Ensure solutions follow data security, governance, and compliance standards (including role-based access control).

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing apps, flows, and reports for performance and reliability.

- Provide user training, documentation, and post-deployment support.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 35 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse).

- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling for Power BI.

- Experience building canvas and/or model-driven apps with custom connectors and business logic.

- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem: SharePoint, Teams, Outlook connectors.

- Understanding of Dataverse security model (roles, teams, business units, and table/column permissions used in Power Pages).

- Experience with Power Pages theming, Liquid templates, and web API/form configuration is a plus.

- Basic understanding of Azure services (Azure SQL, Logic Apps, Azure AD/Entra ID) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Good communication skills to work directly with client stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or equivalent certification.

- Experience with AI Builder or Copilot Studio.

- Prior experience in a client-facing consulting or BI delivery environment.

- Exposure to ISO 27001 or similar data security/compliance frameworks.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
