Position Summary :

The role involves extensive hands-on technical expertise, including experience with Java and solid experience in API Automation testing using Rest Assured.

Your Role Responsibilities and Duties :

- Extensive hands-on technical expertise, including experience with Java.

- Solid experience in API Automation testing using Rest Assured.

- Experience testing RESTful web services and web applications using POSTMAN.

- Solid hands-on experience in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.

- Experience with build automation and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).

- Experience with all aspects of software testing, including test planning, test automation, failure mode testing, etc.

- Ability to estimate effort and size of features.

- Experience with agile development methodologies and test-driven development processes.

- Experience using source control (esp. Git) and bug tracking systems in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Mandatory :

- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- Extensive hands-on technical expertise, including experience with Java.

- Experience testing RESTful web services using Rest Assured and POSTMAN.

- Solid hands-on experience in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.

- Experienced in creating robust automation framework from scratch that can handle web and mobile screens.

- Experience working on unit testing tools like Cucumber BDD.

- Experience with all aspects of software testing, including test planning, test automation, failure mode testing, etc.

- Experience with build automation and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).

- Ability to estimate effort and size of features.

- Experience with agile development methodologies and test-driven development processes.

- Experience using source control (esp. Git) and bug tracking systems in a team environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience on testing Microservice architecture and Event Driven Design framework.

- Experience on any performance testing tool like K6, JMeter, LoadRunner.

- Experience on any mocking tools like Mockito, Wiredmock, Microcks.
