Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly technical AWS Technical Lead with 8+ years of software engineering experience and strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Node.js, and TypeScript. The role will focus on backend development, serverless architecture, CI/CD, testing, debugging, performance, and building highly scalable systems. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently with UK-based stakeholders and operating in UK working hours.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Build and manage serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and AWS DynamoDB.

- Design and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient AWS-based solutions.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps and Azure DevOps practices/tools.

- Use Git for source control, branching, code reviews, and collaborative development.

- Write and maintain unit tests using Jest and contribute to integration and performance testing.

- Handle synchronous and asynchronous programming challenges with strong coding practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and independently resolve application and production issues.

- Optimize applications to handle high-volume requests, improve performance, and ensure system efficiency.

- Provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices.

Experience & Eligibility :

- 8+ years of overall software engineering/development experience.

- India-based candidates only.

- Must be comfortable working remotely in UK Time Zone / UK working hours.

- Strong hands-on coding experience is mandatory; this is a highly technical individual contributor/technical lead role.

- Experience working with distributed/remote teams is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

A hands-on technical leader who combines strong backend engineering fundamentals with deep AWS experience. The candidate should be able to design, code, test, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions independently rather than functioning primarily as a people manager.
