Job Description - SAP S/4HANA Test Defect Management Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Test Defect Management Consultant to support SAP transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP testing, defect management, and experience working in Agile environments with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Perform testing for SAP S/4HANA applications across SD, MM, and FICO modules.

Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including defect logging, tracking, prioritization, and closure.

Work with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for test and defect management.

Collaborate with development, functional, and business teams to resolve defects.

Execute Functional, Integration, Regression, SIT, and UAT testing.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and support Scrum teams.

Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, and perform root cause analysis.

Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in SAP Testing and Defect Management.

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA testing.

Strong knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.

Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).

Good understanding of STLC and Defect Management processes.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or migration projects.

Exposure to test automation tools is an added advantage.

Good understanding of Finance, Accounting, and Logistics business processes.
