Ryan - Senior Automation Test Engineer - Application Testing

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Design & Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web and API applications using C#/.NET Core.

- Implement automation scripts using industry-standard frameworks such as Katalon, Selenium, Playwright, or SpecFlow.

- Build reusable components and libraries to accelerate automation coverage across teams.

Quality Engineering & Testing :

- Develop and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing.

- Perform API validation using tools such as Postman or JMeter, ensuring accuracy and reliability of backend services.

- Validate data integrity using SQL queries and checks across relational and NoSQL databases.

- Conduct root-cause analysis, identify defects, and collaborate with developers and product teams to drive quality improvements.

CI/CD & Cloud Integration :

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).

- Work with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS to configure test environments and support deployment validation.

What You Bring :

- 6-9 years of experience in software quality engineering with a focus on automation for web and API- based applications.

- Proficiency in C#/.NET Core, test frameworks (Katalon/Selenium/Playwright/SpecFlow), and API testing tools (Postman/Jmeter).

- Hands- on experience with CI/CD, and Azure/AWS cloud services.

- Strong SQL skills and experience validating data across relational and NoSQL stores.

- Proven ability to design, implement, and scale automation frameworks in a collaborative, Agile environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex quality risks and solutions.

- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
