Key Responsibilities :
Bot Monitoring & Operational Support :
- Continuously monitor bot execution in production environments using RPA control panels or orchestration tools (e.g., UiPath Orchestrator, Automation Anywhere Control Room, Blue Prism Control Center).
- Identify and respond promptly to job failures, schedule discrepancies, and system alerts.
- Track the status of bots, queues, schedules, and bot runners/agents to ensure SLA compliance.
- Ensure all automated processes function correctly and complete successfully as expected by business users.
- Generate daily/weekly reports on bot performance, exceptions, and system uptime.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution :
- Investigate and diagnose the root causes of failed automations using logs, execution traces, and control room insights.
- Independently fix minor code-related issues such as selector re-capturing, logic errors, or script corrections to restore bot functionalitywhile keeping developers informed.
- Resolve non-code-related issues including credential expiries, timeout errors, or application unavailability without unnecessary escalation.
- Collaborate with senior RPA developers to resolve complex code bugs or environment-level issues beyond minor fixes.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration :
- Contribute to improving monitoring frameworks and alerting systems for early issue detection.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and workarounds to enhance the knowledge base for future reference.
- Communicate proactively with business users, support teams, and RPA CoE to ensure smooth bot operations and high availability.
Key Skills & Requirements :
- 2 to 5 years of experience in RPA support, monitoring, or maintenance roles.
- Hands-on experience with one or more RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
- Strong understanding of RPA architecture, orchestrator tools, bot queues, and scheduling.
- Basic knowledge of bot development concepts (selectors, workflows, variable handling, exception management).
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skillscapable of identifying and resolving issues independently.
- Familiarity with incident management tools (JIRA, ServiceNow) preferred.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.
