About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior RPA Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-grade automation solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who can balance strategy, solution design, and technical leadership, while working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams.

As a Senior RPA Architect, you will define automation architecture, establish best practices, mentor teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance RPA implementations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities :

RPA Architecture & Solution Design :

- Define end-to-end RPA solution architecture aligned with business and IT strategy

- Design scalable, reusable, and secure automation frameworks

- Lead solution design using RPA platforms such as UiPath (preferred), Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism

- Evaluate process suitability for automation and recommend optimal automation approaches

Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to RPA developers and business analysts

- Review automation designs, code, and deployment strategies to ensure best practices

- Establish coding standards, reusable components, and automation governance frameworks

- Troubleshoot complex automation issues and ensure performance optimization

Automation Delivery & Governance :

- Lead multiple automation initiatives across business functions

- Define and implement RPA governance models, CoE structures, and delivery standards

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements

- Manage version control, release management, and environment strategy

Stakeholder & Business Collaboration :

- Work closely with business leaders, process owners, IT teams, and vendors

- Translate business requirements into robust automation solutions

- Present automation roadmaps, architecture decisions, and value realization to senior stakeholders

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Identify opportunities to enhance RPA solutions using AI/ML, OCR, IDP, and Process Mining

- Stay updated on RPA platform advancements and emerging automation technologies

- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across automation programs

Required Skills & Experience :

Essential Requirements :

- 9 to 10 years of total experience, with significant experience in RPA architecture and solution design

- Strong hands-on expertise with UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, Queues, Assets)

- Experience with enterprise-scale automation implementations

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies

- Proven ability to design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions

- Experience with system integrations, APIs, databases, and exception handling

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Tools & Technologies :

- RPA Platforms: UiPath (mandatory), exposure to Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism is a plus

- Workflow & Design: Process modeling tools, Visio, BPMN

- Source Control & DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines for RPA

- Databases & Scripting: SQL, basic .NET / VB / C# understanding

- Infrastructure: Windows environments, Citrix, VDI, and remote applications

Nice-to-Have / Preferred :

- Experience in setting up or leading an RPA Center of Excellence (CoE)

- Exposure to AI/ML, OCR, Document Understanding, and Intelligent Automation

- UiPath certifications such as UiPath Advanced RPA Developer or Solution Architect

- Experience working with enterprise stakeholders and global delivery teams
